Houston, Texas, July 29, 2015 ― Petroleum Industry Data Exchange, Inc. (PIDX International) is pleased to announce it has elected two new members to its Board of Directors.
Andrew Mercer, Vice President for Global Projects, Information Technology & Services for BP and John Tombari, Marketing and Sales Portfolio Manager for Schlumberger, have joined the PIDX Board effective June 5, 2015.
“Andrew has a proven track record for delivering large scale, global solutions,” said Chris Welsh, CEO of OFS Portal and PIDX Board Member. “I have worked with Andrew for many years and he is well known and respected for forging alliances and implementing standard approaches to streamline the way we do business in our industry. PIDX will benefit greatly from his strategic vision, pragmatism and ability to execute. I am excited he has accepted the position to join the PIDX Board of Directors and look forward to his contribution.”

Mr. Mercer is accountable for the strategy, execution, and delivery of all IT&S services to the Global Projects Organization, in both the major projects and the global function. He graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 1985 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Science.

Mr. Tombari is involved in the Corporate IT Transformation program and is responsible for the portfolio of business systems that will enable transformation in marketing and sales. He graduated from Cornell University in 1981 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
