Who We Are

The Executive Committee of PIDX is responsible for planning and operation governance. It consists of the PIDX Chair, Vice Chair, the Chairs of the PIDX Subcommittees, the former Chair of PIDX, the API Secretariat, 3 elected members from the General Committee, and a member from the API General Committee of Information Management and Technology, which is the API Committee that provides guidance to PIDX.


Accomplishments

• PIDX Charter: The Executive Committee worked in conjunction with the PIDX General Committee to develop a new, more comprehensive charter. The new Charter has been approved by the PIDX General Committee, the API General Committee on Information Management and Technology, and the API General Committee on Finance.

PIDX Chairperson's Handbook
The purpose of this document is to provide information to PIDX committee, subcommittee, SIG and Workgroup Chairs on how to conduct meetings and committee business in a way that is consistent with the bylaws, goals and objectives of PIDX.

• PIDX Europe: PIDX Europe will be a new Specific Interest Group developed to represent European interests in the development, convergence and implementation of transaction and classification business standards for the oil and natural gas industry.


• Technical Secretariat Support: The PIDX Executive Committee is working with the API secretariat to contract with LMI to provide technical secretariat support for PIDX standards activities. This will be done with no increase in PIDX dues.
