PIDX Releases Revision to the the REGS Master Code List, Version 3.9.
This comprehensive list of codes replaces the previously posted files which will be archived off the website by September 15, 2009.

PIDX Releases Revision to PIDX RN Specification
The PIDX Business Messages Workgroup (BMWG) is please to announce the unanimous adoption of the first revision to the PIDX Rosettanet (RN) Specification since the specifications first publication in 2002. This new version has been developed over a number of years with input from several leading PIDX RN practitioners, and has been designed specifically to reduce complexity and enable faster PIDX RN implementation.

"The core requirements of RN: data confidentiality, integrity, and non-repudiation are unaffected by the changes and the new version does not introduce any new requirements to PIDX RN. Rather, it addresses numerous ambiguities and inconsistencies  that existed in the original requirements. The  result is a cleaner Implementation Guide that reflects the RN capabilities of trading partners RN capabilities today. ", says Tim Morgan, PIDX Vice-Chair.

The new PIDX RN Specification Revision can be found on the PIDX BMWG web-site and any questions related to this new standard should be directed to the BMWG Leadership, Charles Sewell (Chair) or Steven Robinson (Vice Chair).

John Boardman retired from a long term career with Shell International as lead in eProcurement enablement globally. He also wrapped up the year by ending his accomplished term as PIDX Europe Chairman.
